About me

Welcome !

Update: January 28, 2021: I successfully defended my PhD Thesis titled "Neural Representation Learning for Speech and Audio Signals".

Sept. 2, 2020: I submitted my PhD Thesis titled "Neural Representation Learning for Speech and Audio Signals".

Currently, I am working as Research Associate in LEAP lab (August 2020 - present). I will be joining Microsoft as Applied Research Scientist-II from February 2021.

I joined Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, in July 2015 as PhD scholar. I am working with Dr. Sriram Ganapathy , in Learning and Extraction of Acoustic Patterns (LEAP) lab, Electrical Engineering Dept. from June 2016.

Prior to joining IISc, I did my M.Tech. from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, in 2015.

Research Interests

Interpretable deep learning, robust representation learning, unsupervised/self-supervised representation learning, low-resource data modeling, embeddings based semantic learning, multi-modal system building, machine learning for signalprocessing, and source separation.
